Balls and Proprioception

In the Train Your Seat Equestrian, we use Balls in several ways (in conjunction with imagery) to up-regulate the body proprioception. Proprioception can be most simply described as the sense of movement and body position. Improving the proprioception can result in:

  1. Less tension
  2. Better posture
  3. Increased flexibility
  4. More efficient and coordinated movement production

By using the ball, we are bringing more input into the sensory organs of the body.

We call this the Art of Change (E.P.I.C.)
